I am Yolandi Janse van Rensburg
Fresh out of varsity with a degree in Journalism and an honours in Visual Studies, I jumped into the exciting and challenging world of digital marketing at an energetic agency called World Wide Creative. As an Online Community Manager I run the social media platforms of our Joburg and UK clients. In this role I work alongside the ongoing marketing team to help build, grow and sustain our clients' online communities.
At World Wide Creative we run a project called The Heavy Chef where I am the events coordinator for our Joburg and Cape Town Heavy Chef session.
Furthermore, I am sub-editor of the entrepreneurial blog, Ideate and the editor of the luxury lifestyle blog, Luxury Cape Town.
Business aside, I am a car lover.
This is Autofemme
Since its beginnings in 2009, Autofemme has grown into a platform where women can share their passion for cars. This blog is inspired by the sheer driving pleasure and the breathtaking design and technology of automobiles of today and of the future.
Who says only men can know about cars and drive them well?
This passion for the automotive industry is fueled by untrue myths and stereotypes regarding cars and women. The aim of this blog is to create the all-too-familiar butterflies-in-the-stomach feeling speed, great handling and performance ignites.
This industry might still be gender-biased but who says we all should buy in to this idea.
